Montelukast:
An antileukotriene agent,prevents the painful symptoms of seasonal allergy.
An effective & safe option for the treatment of asthma in children.
Montelukast in combination with levocetrizine if effective in reducing daytime,nighttime,composite and daytime eye symptoms in seasonal allergic rhinitis as compared to levocetrizine alone.
Combination therapy of montelukast and levocetrizine shows significantly better symptom relief in allergic rhinitis compared with the modest improvement with each of the treatments alone.
Levocetirizine:
Anantihistamine,effective in reducing pruritis,sneezing & watery rhinorrhea.
