Indication
*Urinary tract infections

*Skin and soft tissue infections
*Serious infections (septicemia)

Amoxicillin:
Effective & well tolerated in the treatment of skin & soft tissue infections.
Bacteriolytic beta-lactum antibiotic better absorbed orally than other beta-lactum antibiotics.
Acts by inhibiting synthesis of bacterial cell wall.
Dicloxacillin Sodium:
Superior pencillinase stability-The presence of isoxazoly group on the side of chair of pencillin nucleus facilitats the beta-lactamase resistance.
None acid stable- hence is very orally.
Combination with neta-lactam was found to be therapeutically effective & well tolerated in patients with acute infections.
High therapeutic effect was found in pneumonia, pyothorax, pulmonary abscess, infections of the skin & soft tissue caused by multi-resistant staphylococci.
