Amoxycillin:
Bacteriolytic, β-lactum antibiotic usd to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganism.
Inhibits pencillin-binding proteins (PBPs) resulting in bacterial lysis.
Highly active against Pencillinase Resistant Penicillins (PRPs) compared to cefixime.
Clavulanic acid:
Improves the antibacterial activity and effectiveness of amoxicillin.
Increased spectrum of action and restores efficacy against amoxicillin-resistant bacteria that produce β-lactumase.
